Over the past 10 weeks, my understanding and approach to diversity in education have evolved significantly. Initially, my view on diversity was more about recognizing and acknowledging differences among students. However, this course has expanded my perspective to see diversity as a central, dynamic element that should actively shape every aspect of teaching and learning. Previously, I focused on integrating diversity into the curriculum as a secondary consideration, aiming to ensure that all students had access to the same educational resources. Now, I see diversity as integral to the very design of our educational approaches. My professional philosophy has shifted towards prioritizing inclusivity in a way that actively fosters an environment where every student, regardless of their background or identity, feels a strong sense of belonging.
