Bullying in the Workplace Simulation

Background

This is one of three online simulation scenarios designed to help promote communication skills. There is a debriefing component included at the end of the online simulation that you are encouraged to complete to promote growth of communication skills.

Instructions

STEP 1: COMPLETE THE SIMULATION (MANDATORY)

1. Click here to access the Simulation “Bullying in the Workplace”
2. Click on the “Start” button.
   • You can complete the simulation as many times as you like.
3. Once you have completed the simulation, download the Response Summary PDF.
   
   • Name your assignment “NCOM 1000-A4 Response Summary-FirstInitialLastName”
     • E.g., NCOM 1000-A4 Response Summary-GLopez

STEP 2: COMPLETE SELF-REFLECTION QUESTIONS (MANDATORY)

1. Download the Self-Reflection Questions (attached below). This is a fillable Word Document.
   • Click here to download Microsoft Office for free
   • These questions are slightly DIFFERENT from debriefing questions found at the end of the simulation. You must use the self-reflection questions attached below for your assignment.
   • Your answers should be 3-5 sentences for each question.
   • Review the Rubric for detailed expectations and breakdown of marks. 
2. Name your assignment “NCOM 1000-A4 Self-Reflection-FirstInitialLastName”
   • e.g., NCOM 1000-A4 Self-Reflection-GLopez

STEP 3: SUBMIT ASSIGNMENT

1. Upload BOTH FILES (Response Summary and Self-Reflection) to this dropbox. You must click the submission button two times.
   • First click submits the assignment as a “DRAFT” (cannot be marked – late penalties may apply)
   • Second click submits the assignment for marking (can be marked)
