Distinctions Between Individual Racism and Institutional Racism:

Individual Racism: 

Individual racism refers to personal beliefs, attitudes, and actions that reflect racial prejudice and discrimination. It is manifested through individual behaviors, comments, or actions that discriminate against people based on their race. Examples include racial slurs, biased attitudes, or discriminatory practices by individuals in various settings.

Institutional Racism: 

Institutional racism, on the other hand, refers to systemic and structural inequalities embedded within institutions and organizations. It involves policies, practices, and procedures that perpetuate racial disparities and inequalities. This form of racism is less about individual intent and more about how institutional structures and practices create and sustain racial inequities.
